My watering reminders aren't arriving.
Reminders are opt-in. Check that they're on in the App's Settings, and that notifications are allowed in Settings › Notifications › Plantrs. You only get a reminder on mornings when at least one plant actually needs water, so a quiet morning means everything is watered.
How does Plantrs know what day my plant is on?
It counts the days since the planting date you entered, plus a head start if you began from a seedling or a grown plant. You can change either one from the plant's Edit screen, and the stage and drawing update immediately.
The growth days don't match my plant.
The guide's timings are typical for lowland Philippine conditions. Weather, soil, variety and the time of year all shift them, so treat them as a guide rather than a schedule. Your own journal notes are the best record of how your plants are really doing.
Why does Identify only give broad results?
Identification runs entirely on your iPhone, without uploading anything. In this version it recognises broad types such as tomato, chili, hibiscus or houseplant, and suggests matching plants from the guide. More precise identification is planned. Please never eat a plant based on an identification.
Can I use Plantrs on more than one device?
Yes, with Plantrs Plus. Turn on iCloud sync in Settings and your garden syncs through your own private iCloud to every iPhone signed in to your Apple Account. Without sync your garden lives only on this iPhone, and deleting the App deletes it.
How do I delete my data?
Remove one plant from its … menu, or delete everything from Settings › Delete all plants. Deleting the App also removes all of its data. There's no account to close, because there was never one to create.
Can I suggest a plant for the guide?
Yes, please! Email the plant's name and where you grow it, and I'll look at adding it.
