Terms of Use (EULA)

By downloading or using Plantrs ("the App"), these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Standard Apple EULA

The App is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the App is subject to your prior acceptance of Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), which can be found at Apple's website.

2. Gardening Information Is a Guide

The App's plant guide, growth stages and day counts are typical estimates for lowland Philippine conditions. Weather, soil, location, variety and care all change how a plant actually grows. The App makes no promise about germination, growth, harvest or yield.

3. Plant Identification & Safety

• Identification is approximate. It recognises broad plant types and may be wrong.
• Never eat, or give to a child or pet, any plant based on the App's identification. Many plants look alike, and some are poisonous.
• Some common houseplants are toxic to pets and people, including pothos. Keep plants out of reach where needed, and consult a veterinarian or doctor if you suspect poisoning.
• Herbal uses mentioned in the guide are traditional uses, not medical advice.

4. Price

The App is free to download and use, with no ads. Free gardens hold up to five plants. Plantrs Plus is an optional one-time in-app purchase (no subscription) that unlocks unlimited plants, iCloud sync, widgets, care schedules, plant packs, and extra themes and app icons. It is sold and billed by Apple under the App Store terms; refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account with "Restore purchase" in Settings.

5. Privacy

How the App handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: no account, no third-party analytics, and your garden stays on your device unless you choose to sync it to your own iCloud.

6. Your Data

Your garden is stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync (Plantrs Plus), a copy is kept in your private iCloud database, which we cannot access. Without sync we cannot recover your garden if you delete the App or your device is lost or reset.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App, including loss of plants or crops, or any decision you make based on its information.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
